The UK’s most colourful motoring event!

Whatever your wheels you will be welcome at Petrol & Pride 2026.

Now in its second year, Petrol & Pride is a special motoring gathering created for members, friends and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community which aims to allow everyone to show off their pride in their wheels and themselves. And what better place to display our many colours than in the scenic grounds of the British Motor Museum located in … Gay-don.

Any car, motorcycle, truck, ice cream van is welcome, whatever its age, brand, value, condition… This is an automotive inclusive event. Which means, yes, even electric and diesel-fuelled ones.

A pride flag of coloured cars will be created. We will have music. And there will be prizes for the Butchest, Gayest and Best Glow Up handed out on the day, too, with the winners picked by a panel of jolly judges.

The Museum is located just a few minutes from junction 12 of the M40. Gates open from 10:00 then please be parked up by 11:00. Mingle and mix with like-minded people and their wheels, enjoy an ice cream, tour the museum and head back to the M40 after our prize giving at 15:00 with new friends made. It’ll be wonderful.

Please note that Petrol & Pride is a not-for-profit event. Anything we do make will be lovely as it will be donated to an LGBTQ+ charity to be announced.
