Friday 25 July, 12:00-16:00.
The British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire, CV35 0BJ
Petrol & Pride is a special gathering created for members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community which aims to celebrate car culture and gay culture in the grounds of the British Motor Museum located in … Gay-don. How very appropriate.
Any car is welcome: this is a car inclusive event. Which means, yes, even electric ones. And Pride themed cars will make up a special display with the possibility of a prize for the gayest.
It’s free, too, for one car with a driver and a passenger. Once you’re done looking at everyone’s cars parked on display, your place also includes free entry to the Museum. (Not for your car, though – they already have more than 400.) There’ll be pay-for food stalls and an ice cream van and, being the end of July, perhaps some sunshine. Although you can’t buy the weather.
The Museum is located just a few minutes from junction 12 of the M40. Please be parked up by 12:00, then mingle and mix with like-minded people and their cars, enjoy an ice cream, tour the museum and head back to the M40 from 16:00 with new friends made. We hope it’ll be wonderful.
Please note that free admittance to Petrol & Pride and the British Motor Museum is only available to those who pre-register. Due to limited spaces, we also cannot guarantee entry on the day without letting us know in advance that you will be attending.Have any questions? Feel free to reach out to us at
